Seattle Pastors and faith leaders are invited for a special luncheon at Emerald City Bible Fellowship (8445 Rainier Ave S, 98118) on June 10th, 11:45 am to 2 pm. 


We are privileged to have guest author, Esau McCaulley, (“Reading While Black: African American Biblical Interpretation as an Exercise in Hope”) as our guest presenter. We’ll also highlight a school-church partnership at Southshore K-8 and Urban Impact’s Thriving Congregations Initiative. All these align with loving our community well through our public schools.

The Rotary Club of Seattle is hosting a private event on literacy, Jan. 23, 2024 at the Central Library in downtown Seattle. Pastor Roy Chang will serve as one of the panelists and School Connect WA will table at the event along with the following orgs that offer authentic gap closing services to students.

3) Adult and Youth Learning Center

4) The Math Agency

Seattle Literacy Project

We're working with Teach A Kid To Read to get thousands of new books into hands of Seattle children that need it the most. Speedfast LLC a South Seattle phone case design and shipping business has generously donated space for up to 5,000 books.


Food Lifeline, the provider of food to more than 350 food banks, shelters, and meal programs across Western Washington, has also donated space for an additional 5,000 books.

Book a reservation now to dine at Homer restaurant on September 25th. Homer's annual Solidarity Dinner will benefit School Connect WA. 10% of all proceeds will go toward supporting our academic afterschool program and Seattle Literacy Project.
